Robert Lawrence

Physical Attributes:

46yr old white male, 5-11 177lbs, net worth $800millon est.

Biography:

A mass media mogul and executive producer who, is like a cheaper less respected versions of Aaron Spelling and Ted Turner. He knows very little about the wrestling business, so "most" of the time he just signs the checks and let Jeremy Dillon run the CWC. Lawrence has unlimited resources that could make the CWC a force to reckon with in the sports entertainment industry, however he's reluctant to commit the financial support needed for CWC to achieve this goal. Lawrence has to first be convinced that the recent resurgence in wrestling's popularity over the past few years is more than a fad that will fade as quickly as it rose. At least that's what he's being told by his advisors.

CWC PRESIDENT:

 Jeremy Dillon

Physical Attributes:

45yr old white male, 6-1 201lbs, hair coloring is blonde.

Biography:

A former booker, talent scout and executive for the World Wrestling Association, Dillon feel out of the favor of WWA management when a multi-federation PPV he was overseeing went belly up and cost the company a huge chunk of cash. Then WWA president Tori Brooks was still high on Dillon's abilities as a booker and scout so against the urging of the executive council she didn't fire him. Many months later when Brooks was unceremoniously removed from office, Dillon resigned his position as a show of loyalty to Brooks for sticking by him. This opened the door for Dillon to accept the position of president of the CWC. Dillon has been involved in wrestling since the age of 8 when he would travel the southern wrestling circuits with his father a career midcarder in the USWA & NWA. At the age of 19 Dillon became a referee to help pay for college. After graduating with a degree in Marketing from Penn State he continued as a referee until the age of 30. At this time Dillon opened his own promotion (HWA) in America's heartland. After 6 successful years, Dillon sold his promotion to the much larger NWA and to on a role as one of it's bookers. He worked there until he was hired by the WWA in July of 1998.

Despite having a father who was a wrestler and being around the sport since the 60's, Dillon is by no means a traditionalist. However he does believe in loyalty and has always rewarded his wrestlers who gave their heart and blood for his promotions. Dillon believes and is often heard saying "No one is un-pushable!"

Dillon believes the CWC can be highly successful and a national if not world wide hit, only if Lawrence and Boomerang would just stay out of the way and let him run the CWC how he see fit.

He has spent the last two years basically unemployed with the exception of a few freelance writing jobs for a Canadian News magazine, until Dillon Lawrence decided to give him another break and a new job and a reporter. Expecting something with one of Boomerang's newspapers or the Superstation McGee is less than happy with his job as a professional wrestling reporter. -CWC OFFICIALS-

Each ref that officiates in the CWC has his own interpretation of the rules and calls the match accordingly. It would be wise to learn which ref is calling your match and study his/her bio, so you will have a general understanding of what to expect during any given match.

HEAD REFEREE:

Pat Carter

Physical Attributes:

55 yr old white male, 5-10 180lbs

Biography:

Pat Carter a veteran that is always in control of every match he officiates. He's been officiating longer than he cares to remember. Carter rarely misses anything that happens in the ring, or at ringside. He researches each wrestler and their tendencies before each match so he knows who and what to look out for. Calls DQ's as he see's fit, he has a very liberal interpretation of the rule book.

Carter officiates all CWC upper card and main event matches for Sudden Impact and PPVs. He's also the ref for most if not all title matches.

REFEREE:

Alejandro Chavez

Physical Attributes:

40 yr old Hispanic male, 6-0 206lbs

Biography:

Chavez has been a referee since '89 and in the ring he stays out of the wrestlers way and let them go at it.

Chavez is one of the best in the business, he does however let activity on the outside of the ring, affect his focus on the match at times. Chavez believes a good ref understands that the wrestlers are the stars and he's not there to show any of them up. His job is to make the three count and raise the hand of the winner. Chavez sporadically calls DQ's, meaning he may go five matches and letting the wrestlers kill each other with anything from bats, pliers, and chairs. Then in the sixth match he would call a DQ because someone doesn't break a illegal hold after five count. Chavez refs matches anywhere from the midcard to the main event. He's the fill in ref for Carter.

A former Luchador himself Chavez spent the better part of his career wrestling in Mexico and through out Central America. Chavez is part owner with two other men of a small promotion in Mexico. He's also the CWC's primary scout of Luchador and all other Mexican and Latino talent.

-FREE LANCE REFEREES-

Free lance referees are refs that aren't listed on the CWC payroll instead they are independent referees that the CWC will call in and use from time to time. The use of these refs is sporadic to say the less.

REFEREE:

Jeff Foley

Physical Attributes:

6'3 black male, 240lbs.

Biography:

Foley is a referee for a lot of hardcore independent promotions in the south. He's referee's philosophy is that every match is different. He lets the wrestlers dictate how close he will call the match, if they come out wrestling technical he will call it strictly by the book. If both wrestlers are willing to break the rules and get hardcore then Foley will through the rule book out and let them take the match to the extreme. Foley is the less likely of all CWC refs to call a DQ or stop a match because of outside interference or blood lost. The only complaint most wrestlers have about Foley is he has a very fast three count.

REFEREE:

Rita Wade

Physical Attributes:

31 yr old, black female 5-8 156lbs

Biography:

A former U.S. Marine Rita actually started out as a referee for military sanctioned boxing matches while stationed at Camp Pendelton. Currently Rita owns her own fitness center in Hamilton, Ontario. A fitness specialist Wade's body is a well toned work of art that doesn't sacrifice her feminine characteristics.

In the ring Wade is as tough as a drill Sergeant, actually takes bumps a lot better than most of her male counterparts. She doesn't tolerate outside interference and is generally against valets and managers as well as other being at ring side. She often will send then back to the locker room. Rita is the one ref in wrestling that still utilizes a mandatory and "accurate" 20 count when some one is on the outside of the ring.

REFEREE:

 Corbin Albert

Physical Attributes:

25yr old white male, 5-11 179lbs

Biography:

Albert is actually a rookie ref in training, he's easily distracted at times and often times is out of position and have cost many wrestlers to miss a pin fall because of it. Albert is very quick to call DQ's when he feels things are getting out of hand. Usually something as minimal as a stiff chair shot is grounds for a DQ in his book. Albert mostly works CWC dark matches and house shows, but on occasion he's given the call to officiate on Sudden Impact. Despite his inexperience President Dillon is dedicated to his development as a ref.

-MISC.-

HEAD OF SECURITY:

Cable

Physical Attributes:

??yr old white male, 6-4 275lbs

Very little is known about the man called Cable, rumors have surfaced that he was once a member of the secret service and spent two years assigned to President Bush. Other reports have Cable running his own security and bodyguard service out of Chicago, while even more rumors have has him as a former hit man in the Atlanta Mafia. Whatever it is that Cable did in the past one thing that's certain is he was damn good at it because it shows in his work with The Squad.

CWC SECURITY TEAM aka The Squad

The CWC security team were recruited, hired and trained by Cable. Known as "The Squad" by the fans and other CWC employees. The Squad is always on alert just in case the ring action gets out of the hands of the referee. Members of the Squad are easily made out thanks to the black jeans, red T-shirt, and shades that makes up their uniform.

The CWC House Bands

For most live events the CWC will hire garage, college, and alternative rock bands to play live music instead if just pumping recordings of the CWC theme song and wrestlers entrance music over the arena's sound system. These bands mostly play covers of more popular songs from the past and present, with their own unique twist added in. On occasion they are permitted to play some of their original songs. The CWC usual picks a local band from whatever city that the card is being held, sometimes they will fly bands in from other cities. The CWC House Band is usually a unsigned group though it's not uncommon for the CWC to bring in a rock band from the late eighties that belongs on the "Where are they now list"
